Closet Transformation

A couple weeks ago we walked you through a tour of our new (to us) home… Well, while we have been here for over a year, but we’ve been so busy with major remodeling that actually writing a blog post about it has been hard- and so many projects, have been done half way just to get the home functioning. However, we finally finished a project, and that is our girls closet transformation.  You can watch it here:

In the last 5 or so years we’ve moved several times, and I will admit, when we decided to move in this house, I just couldn’t bear the idea of figuring out where everyone’s clothing would go.  I told my husband that I would absolutely not move in, unless we had the closets done.

The truth of the matter is, we don’t own many dressers (2 small 3 drawer dressers).  Instead, I like to organize with built in shelves and drawers in a closet.  Anyway, we will tell you more about the process we went through later in the week, but for now check out the video and tell us what you think! Check out the details of how we organized the closet HERE.

  1. Wow! I LOVE all the drawers. I would have never thought to put that many drawers in a closet but now I want to. The master bedroom closet in my home is under the stairs so it’s really deep but not very functional. I am in the process of trying to figure out what to do with it and your transformation has given me some great ideas. Thank you

  2. Wow wow wow! How I wish I had met a Justin kind of guy to quench my thirst for let’s make good better for us.
The closet is way cool. We are moving into new 1906 house in 21 days. Old closets and oh how I adore this house. I have a Army Captain who said as we walked through the house this needs changed and that but he wants to hire someone I want to do it.
