Friday Favorites: Marbling, Wallpaper, and an Awesome DIY Kitchen Island
Happy Friday! and happy Valentine’s Day weekend! I hope you have special plans with someone(s) you love; here’s some of what we are loving this week.
Favorite new thing: We’re getting more into the world of video and it’s really fun! This super quick marbled project took just a few minutes and I love the look! The tutorial will be up on our YouTube channel soon, so be sure to subscribe there to see it!

Favorite kitchen island: Every kitchen island needs some great storage, and this DIY one built by Reality Daydream (formerly Sawdust and Embryos) fits the bill! A great place for the microwave.
Favorite use of old drawers: When you’re updating a dresser, or find a trashed one on the side of the road — save those drawers! Love this cubby made from 2 old drawers. Mylove2create shared the details over at My Repurposed Life.
Favorite white space: I know white isn’t for everyone, but I am a big fan of white spaces like Cami’s living room. See more over at Tidbits.
Favorite happy little surprise: From the party, Refresh Living refinished this beautiful dresser for her daughter. I love the detail of the drawer liners!

Favorite workspace: I go weak in the knees for built-ins, and the only thing better is *organized* built-ins. This desk by Jan Glaysteen Architects, featured on Boston Design Guide, has me swooning. I would love a spot like this in my house!
Favorite bathroom mirrors: This room designed by Hammer and Hand has so many beautiful features, but my favorite part is the mirrors. What’s your favorite?
Favorite console table: This whole setup by Jen Gentry is beautiful, but I love the design detail on the buffet doors. A nice use of the color of the year, too 😉

Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade!
